My family is important to me. I have daughters in AZ and TX, 4 granddaughters, 1 grandson, and another grandchild due in May, 2012. I started raising my granddaughter Nisha when she was 21 months old after loosing my middle daughter. Her biological father left a week after she turned one. He's been gone for years, so I'm the only Poppa she knows. I married when she was 5. She will be spending the school year with my soon to be x wife. I'll have her in the summer and for holidays. I grew up in OK, was in the Army in Germany, after college lived in TX in Houston and Dallas-Ft.Worth many years. Lived in Grand Canyon Natioanl Park for many years also, CO for several and transferred here in November, 2011.
I'm seperated and have been since August, 2009. I expected the divorce to be final this year in April. It stared in Febraury, 2011.
I try to eat a very healthy diet, lots of turkey, fish, some chicken and lots of veggies, nuts and some fruit. Rarely eat any type of fast food other than a Subway chicken or turkey sandwich with all the veggies except onions. Don't like raw onion. Otherwise I like most types of food, just a healthy choice but I have a weakness for Mexican and Thai or hot & spicy foods. Usually have a salad for lunch during the week and grill a lot for dinner. Yes I cook, just not a gourmet cook. After raising two teenage daughters and a grand daughter by myself for years, I've had lots of practice. I don't like frozen dinners, so I prefer to cook almost daily. Lots of leftovers since I live by myself.
