I was born in Bulgaria, but have lived practically my entire adult life in the States. I've lived in the Bay Area for about 15 years now and consider it my home. I'm a strong believer that it's our own actions, values and choices that defines us (rather than our place of birth, ethnicity or passport). That said, I have to admit that I was quite excited and grateful when I got my citizenship and when the President sent me a personal letter calling me "my fellow American", he won my heart forever!
