I've never been married and never had kids. Unfortunate for me, since I've wanted that, but fortunate for you, perhaps ;)
I don't fear commitment. I had a 5 year relationship that was followed immediately by a 4 year relationship. For the mathematically challenged, that means since the age of 28, I've been with 2 women. That's pretty hard to find these days ;) That also means you won't be getting phone calls from dozens of psycho ex's and we won't be running into any of them either.
I'm in shape. I'm not a champion body builder and I'm not vain, but I care about health and fitness. I do crossfit (but I'm not psycho about it like so many people.). I take mixed martial arts classes, and I at least know what healthy food looks like (and can cook it) even if I don't always have the willpower to eat what I am supposed to.
I have enough style that you won't be embarrassed to be seen in public with me. That's a big one, I know! I don't have a wardrobe overflowing with clothes, but I know how to dress for just about any occasion. I won't show up at your friend's wedding in jeans and a designer tee shirt. (In fact, I would never show up anywhere in that....) If I could have anyone's wardrobe, it would be that rich tycoon kid on Gossip Girl. (Yes, I've seen Gossip Girl. No, I won't tell you that I like it. Ok, fine, I like it.)
I have a promising career. I work in the network security field and hold some of the highest certifications available. I work for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, protecting their network from a wide range of web based attacks. This is a field of work that pays well and is constantly in demand.
I'm self taught and spent years learning my profession. I have discipline and motivation. I'm also self educated in other fields. I am very politically conscious. So much so, that I've decided I hate politics and all politicians (with one notable exception.) I've also studied finance, economics, nutrition, philosophy, and a few other topics along the way. I can find a place in just about any conversation. You won't be bored talking to me, but you might need to tell me to shut up at some point.
I'm debt free! I have no debt, no mortgage, no car payments, nothing. I don't consider myself wealthy, but I am comfortable.
I've traveled the world, or at least most of it. I was in the Marines as a young adult. (Don't worry, I'm completely de-programmed). After that, I did several years overseas for work. I liked being overseas, but it made those two relationships kind of difficult. I've lived in 5 different countries and visited dozens more. (Never been to South America, though. Don't know why.)
I'm very open minded! Since I've seen or done almost everything, I'll never judge you for what you've seen or done. I don't judge people. (I do criticize poor manners, though. That's just unnecessary in any culture.) My favorite show for a while was Bret Michaels' Rock of Love. It's not like I have a leg to stand on when it comes to judging people.
And finally, I treat women well. You won't get that complaint from the two women I've been with in the last nine years. :)
