I’ve always worked for myself and the struggles of the last few years have been big. Ahhh, but now, now is when life is getting started again. I still work for myself and I’m happy with my life just the way it is. My required work time per day is 4 minutes online and makes an amazing income but I put in a few hours extra on other things like my pet project. I founded a nonprofit that help military vets transition from deployment return to the work force and a normal life by writing grants to pay associated expenses of food, clothing, shelter, counseling, training and job placement.
I live with Jake, my black lab. We get along great with everyone and come as a package deal. I have a big family but I’m not like anyone in my family. I’m in good with everyone in my family of judges and professors but I blaze my own trail in life. I’m searching for a girl who feeds the side of me that is lacking that someone in it. Plus, how many people do you actually know that met their significant other at a bar? :) I wouldn't trade my life for anything because I wouldn't be where I am right now in my life/career without working hard for the first 8 years of my career. Im at a point in life where I would like to meet someone special that I can share my life with as I can relax a little now and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Being that I don't have to work as much now, when I do meet that special person, hopefully she will be ready to travel the world and enjoy what it has to offer. I was raised in a traditional family and my parents always taught me to be truthful both to myself and others. I was also taught to always be respectful to everyone. I'm a bit old fashioned in the sense that I will always open the door for you, give you my jacket if your cold, go out of my way for people and not expect anything in return. I'm not a "Yes Mam" kind of guy, but I am a gentlmen and know how to treat a lady:) In my spare time I love to travel, spend time with family/friends, snowboard, go camping, relax while watching a movie on the couch and exercise so I can live a long an healthy life. I guess, for long time I believed that the perfect-ness of this section is what my 'matching' success depends on : ) After realizing that I'm no Jesus and I don't want to be, I decided to use 'broad strokes' for my description and be happy with it.

I try to maintain wide variety of interests – writing software, playing classical guitar, reading fiction and poetry literature alongside scientific papers, visiting theatre performances and art shows - which (I guess) makes me a �quasi-geek’. (If the sentence �Every even number is a sum of two prime numbers’ carries any appeal to you, we might hit it off right away ?) I used to be the guy who perceives the world in �black and white’ (not the skin colors). Several relationships later I’m much more accepting of the shades of grey in opinions and behavior. I also think that the real fulfillment in life comes from creating shared experiences.
