Let’s see, what I can add to these canned stats? Born in Burbank, live in Sherman Oaks, work in West L.A., coach fencing and teach percussion in Van Nuys. I've lived all over the South West, lower Eastern Sea Board, Alaska, Central America and for a short time Europe (Netherlands mostly). I also lived in Asia for a couple of years (Korea mostly).
I’m a pseudo health nut, which means I mostly take care of myself. I don’t eat red meat, pork, or junk food (it helps that I am a hell of a cook and you know we all have to cheat from time to time). I’m in the gym 4-5 times a week and on the fencing field at least twice a week as well.
I’ve been told that I am too smart for my own good, and that I am a contrary thinker. I'd like to find someone who’s been told the same thing throughout her life. I don't want intellectual concepts and / or humor to be lost on that special someone. I feel your lover/GF/wife/whatever should first and foremost be your best friend and for me at least, that takes someone who is bright.
While I've got excellent social skills and am truly nice guy (other people's accounts not mine.) and I’m even a little hip, BUT! I’m a geek at heart…history geek, fencing geek, computer geek (not a gamer), art geek, movie geek, astronomy geek, wine geek...see a pattern emerging?... I've spent all my life working hard at achieving the goals and dreams that I made when I was a kid. I consider myself to be extremely lucky and fortunate to be successful doing the thing that I love to do. (Making music.) Now that I'm older, my focus has shifted from my career to my personal life. Better late than never!
You know the saying..."Expect it when you least expect it." I haven't given up on that theory. I'm including online dating for the first time as added measure.
I grew up in South Carolina but I moved to LA when I was 18. Happy to say that the southern gentleman trait will always be a part of me.
The 26 years that I've lived in LA have flown by thanks to the large group of amazing friends that I have and the great experiences that have fallen into my lap. I'm looking to share all of this with somebody, but not just anybody.
I am very comfortable with who I am as a person but at the same time I surprise myself at how shy I can be. (My friends would laugh at the shy part, but it's true.) I am very open minded to try new things with people I enjoy being with. Eating healthy and staying in shape are top priority for me. I love riding my bike and stair climbing. I don't smoke or do drugs. I prefer to have the occasional beer or a good wine. I am not a serial dater. I'd rather stay single than be with a girl that I don't connect with.

I am in Real Estate and own a few other businesses.Do well financially.Have a great family,Parents married over 50 yrs. YEARS not months..I know,amazing!.Two older brothers(Doctor and Real Estate developer) and a lot of friends all over the world(thanks Facebook). I have a pretty active social life and like doing almost anything. Tennis...concerts,and like all music from Oldies/Pop/R anB to Country. Thats my dog Rocky(yes, like my favorite movie,"Yo Adrian"!). I am really active in saving dogs and other animals..My last pets came from from the shelters. So, if you like pets like I do...we will get along great. I think it shows great character in a person also.I actually started a social website for this a few months ago.
I go to comedy clubs and people always say I have a great sense of humor. You will laugh when we meet.I traveled all over the US and Europe many times and into working out at LA fitness but also hike at Runyon Canyon.
