Date single man from California, United States. About me: I am a easy going, good hearted guy that is a bit of a music geek. I’ve been playing music since I was a teenager and have played, recorded and toured with various Punk and Indie bands over the years. The band thing has slowed down a bit in the last few years and I now work from home and sell music (records online. I really love what I do and I consider myself lucky to have turned my hobby into a full time job. I've lived in Bay Area most of my life and in San Leandro for the last 15 years and its great being so close to bunch of nice lakes/ parks.
I would like to meet someone who like myself doesn't take themselves too seriously. Someone who is a bit out of the ordinary, shares some of the same interests and is fun to be around. If you want to get to know me, drop me a line and lets talk!
Meet someone special from California, United States. Okay, if you caught the humor in my 'witty attention getting headline' as suggested by Match and didn't roll your eyes, then we're off to a great start. Thanks for taking the time to read my me-in-a-box, 200 character minimum mind you!
Two semesters ago, I made the decision to go back to night school to pursue an education in viticulture, as I dream of working in that industry on the marketing side. As for the here and now, been doing IT work for as long as I can remember, presently at a large corporation in San Ramon. Outside of the usual workday (or school night), most of the time it's the dreadmill for me. I have tried rollerblading and I am terrible at it (and formal dancing too, but have no issues with getting my groove on), though I'd welcome any encouragement given and the company!
Perhaps it's odd for a guy, but I'm definitely not addicted to sports on TV; I'd rather 'see' it live, than on a jumbo-tron. I think substance and wit are key to my personality, as I like to find humor in life's daily oddities (sure are plenty there). I enjoy the company of my friends and family. Down time finds me reading biographies and some fiction, when not reading for homework. I love words, irreverence, architecture, art, film, short stories... my cultural tastes can swing from high brow to low brow. That said, I enjoy the City for necessary doses of culture and noise, as much as I enjoy getting away from here. In spite of what the above may indicate, I am actually the kind of person who welcomes quiet time, in that I appreciate the meaningful silence that parses our rollicking and fascinating conversations, as much as I do the ebb and flow. Would love to meet someone who shares my passion for wine!
I love going out for sushi and (real, not Olive Garden) Italian; definitely have spent time finding some fave places to partake at, but am open to discovering new ones with a fellow passenger. I'm NOT a "foodie"; to me that implies snobby. I simply like *good* food, aesthetics be damned. LOVE cooking together, preferably over a bottle of something; and I appreciate help afterward with the dishes too, of course. I love finding a decent wine at K&L for around $10 or so, as much as I do splurging on special bottles to cellar. Though, more often I resort to the tried-and-true of Sonoma County.
I'd like to find someone who also strongly believes in being honest with ourselves, and acknowledges the importance of connecting on multiple levels; emotionally, intellectually, sexually... Simply put, 'getting' each other is key. I'm hoping to find someone witty, fun, with silliness to spare; who appreciates how our differences compliment each other; is comfortable with who she is and with her femininity; who can enjoy being immersed with friends, yet can also find contentment with just each other. In short, a woman that is warm, curious, communicative, and happy! It would be great to share my passion (as opposed to passing interest) for wine and music with you. Which is not to say that we have all the same interests, but a couple in common makes for the icing on the cake. Yeah, I know, I mentioned passion for wine twice. Guess that would make it a key interest! Want to know more? Drop me a line.

Date a soulmate from California, United States. Hello, i am a very giving person, I love to cook and relax. I like spontaneous get up and drives to places i have never visited. I would like to continue that adventure but with someone who enjoys the same.
OK on with the show.......
I relocated to the Bay area for a job in 08. things have been going pretty good, but there is one thing missing. someone to share it with.I lived in LA most of my life, I retired from the Military, purchased and payed off my home in LA, brought up two wonderful boys on my own while going to school as a paralegal and graduated and kept on pushing. I am very professional when it comes to work from 6:30 till it's over. then it's my time. Though my journey has just begun on this sight, i have yet to upload more pics of me. but the one above speaks a million words about me. I like to have fun. Life is to damn short, I am going to give my all and have fun enjoying it Until i go full on with this, i can be located on LinkedIn.Just type in Eddie Anthony Canedo. Yes i said it, that's me if anyone recognizes me. But you know what. At this pivotal point in my life. Why not put yourself out there. So, there you have it. You can learn a lot about me if you want to know. I don't know the Bay Area all that well still. But I am always ready to try new and exciting things.
The Military Story 101st Airborne Division Retired
Since now it's my time, I want the whole world to know! I went the whole enchilada 20years and walked. MY Military experience during Desert Storm and during that time, escalated like a rocket but I am a strong willed MAN at heart. whatever comes my way good or bad, under pressure, i make sure it gets my full attention to make it right. Some shoot for 100%. but not me, I shoot for a 151%. So whoever reads this and wants to know more about me, and leads to more than just words can say, more than just a first date, I can say to you You won't be disappointed. I will treat you as the lady you are, ill tell you more when i meet you.
The next part about me is my likes- I love to cook. You name it, i'll cook it. I am that confident. But i am self taught. I watched my Mom, Grandmother and aunts and uncles, and just took it the next level. I actually have a menu on my dining that shows what i can do around the kitchen weather it's Bar B Que or simple appetizers.
One thing I found in life is music has been a very good tool for me. With the cooking and music, its probably the best kicker for stress relief. I have little stress, but when i feel it coming, the music kicks in. If my day is that bad, then i cruise on to the local church and light up some candles with a couple of prayers. That never hurts, but it helps me. but this doesn't happen often. A remedy that my father passed to me , and it is true, On a day that your challenge with so much, there is nothing a cold beer can't cure. You know what, he was right.... I love him and can't wait to see him in Heaven someday.
Like many of the profiles i have read, family is important. Understand from my point, i am starting over. Most of my family in LA including my father has left this world. He was my best friend that encouraged to keep climbing higher. Well that's where i am at now and starting a family or being involved in family functions may just be what I need, because they were fun and meaningful to me when it was around
Someone to share it with, enjoy me, I really like to make people laugh. and making a woman laugh makes me laugh and I love the company of a woman. A woman's presence when we are out laughing, walking, dancing , watching a movie, cooking together, just laying down looking into each others eyes can speak a million words. To me, that's heaven, and it doesn't get any better than that.
Take Care-
Eddie-
Hope to hear from you soon!
