Date someone special from Livermore, United States. Hi there. I suppose the thing that most defines me is that I'm a happy person. I was married for 10 years, and have now been divorced for 3. I feel like a whole person, but I'm curious to see if there are other happy people out there who are looking to meet.
Boy, its really tricky to describe yourself without sounding conceited or nutty, huh? Honestly, I'm like a very responsible kid. I an old pro taking care of the things in life that need taking care of (work, money, parenting, etc.,) but I'm also just a big kid inside. I don't take life too seriously, and I love to get out and live life.
I have joint custody of my 9 year old daughter, who is the most important part of my life. I adore her and love being a father.
I have a good job that allows me to have balance in my life. I've turned down three promotions in the past two years because a little more money and a lot less time for my family and my own life isn't a trade off that makes much sense to me.
What am I looking for? Let me see if I can get this right... I have gone out to the Burning Man festival many times. While it does not define me (I like it because its a great opportunity to be with a group of friends for more that a few hours,) I think its a good litmus test for a good match. I'm looking for someone who has the mindset of "I'd like to give that a try." Someone who has a spirit of adventure, and isn't afraid to get dirty in the process.
