I'm a loyal son of Michigan who moved to LA eight years ago to pursue a writing career -- original, I know. But hey, it was my dream and it actually came true! I've had some great successes, unforgettable moments, and a novel's worth (or at least, a bad movie's worth) of crazy adventures, and I've never regretted my decision to move West.
I love living and working in Hollywood -- not because of the glitzy E! Channel stuff, but more for the quirky side of Tinseltown. Nothing beats the landmarks like the Silent Movie Theatre, the "only-in-LA" events like The 3-D Film Festival, or the bizarre-but-true studio tales (I once drove a golf cart across Paramount with a bottle of Dom Perignon and a clown).
It's not all work, of course, and I love to get out and experience the city and outlying small towns in every direction. I've also been fortunate enough to travel all over the country, from Portland to Biloxi, and I've met some incredible people along the way. I may never see it all, but that won't stop me from trying.
I'm a humorist, an idealist and a romantic, and I seek the same in others. I'm looking for someone creative, intelligent, genuine and optimistic. (Or at least, optimistically sarcastic!) Someone up for adventures, and coming home with a good story. Better yet, a great story. And if you're a truly kind person, nothing is more beautiful.

To be perfectly frank, due to my singing ability or lack thereof, I only exercise the third part of that motto while doing 70 on the freeway or at karaoke, after a drink or three. So don't expect me to serenade you with a melody, unless you want to hear the neighborhood dogs cry. j/k, I'm not that bad. I was in a chorus in elementary school, until puberty hit.
I'm looking for a sweet girl who'd enjoy a romantic sunset walk on the beach one day, a night on the town the next day, a swim in the ocean and maybe jetskiing the day after, and when all is set and done, would savor a great movie over a glass of wine or two.
