I have a Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathic medicine and currently work as an educator for some of the vitamin and supplement companies. I'm planning on doing two days a week of private practice in the near future.
My ideal mate is a smart and fun loving woman with a big heart, good sense of humor and plenty of room for me in her life. I don't want a smothering situation, yet a real connection and closeness is a must ( and yes, I do need some time alone with my friends as do you!). And trust in me that this is no old cliche', it's absolutely essential to the success of a relationship. Physical attraction is also important but inner beauty takes precedence. With that being said, I not only welcome, but embrace a woman who is full-figured, curvy or carries some extra weight because I find it attractive!
As for leisure activities, I want someone that I can be active with. I'm not referring to things like bungee jumping, skydiving or scaling Mt. Everest........... I'm referring more to riding bicycles (I'm looking to purchase a bike), hiking some of this beautiful Northern CA terrain, playing co-ed softball together, daily brisk walks, possibly some tennis, golfing, bocce ball and whatever else keeps our blood pumping. I'm not saying we have to be on the go constantly, because I do like some down-time for relaxing or spending quiet evenings at home. Other favorite actvities would include weekend getaways, Sunday drives (or any day), dining out, working in the yard and shopping (when you're with the right person, just about any type of shopping can be fun. It's about being together).

I am thankful and grateful for amazing friends and family, two wonderful daughters (who I blame for the gray in my hair) and for the great experiences life has given me.
