I’m a big dog guy, but I never thought I’d end up with a pitbull. Now they’re my favorite. I have an 11-year-old godson who I consider my own son because his dad has never been around. He brings me much joy. I’m fairly well read, and in the past I used to study many spiritual books, including books on Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, the complete Bible, and even Islam. I no longer “quest” so much as I seem to have settled comfortably into a philosophy of balance and moderation in things, of not becoming too attached to any specific ideas, and of not taking any phase in life too seriously (whether good or bad) since circumstances are always changing. I think I’m pretty understanding and thoughtful. I’m good at talking things through and hearing where others are coming from. I hope to meet someone who is optimistic by nature, takes life as it comes, and is adventurous. I’m not looking for perfection.
