Happy, funny (not because I'm bald), sort of fit, energetic, self confident, outgoing, and many more adjectives. But here's the best part; I'm me, and NEVER pretend to be anyone else.
True story; A sweet old lady walks over to me at Gelson's and says "You have such lovely curls. Too bad you're bald." I laughed and gave her a giant hug, then stole the bell peppers out of her cart.
Don't be too quick to judge me. No, I'm not clean cut, but I am clean. I was a suit and tie guy for many years. I was an executive manager for one of LAs biggest car dealership groups. I left it and opened my own biz. I had a shop with close to 30 employees for 10 years. I walked away from all that maddness two years ago, and haven't looked back. I'm in the process of starting something new, and am very excited about it. My hair doesn't conform to the business world. But I like it. 90% of my friends are clean cut entrepreneurs, often telling me to clean up. Nope. I've discovered freedom, peace, and a strong sense of what's important in life.
I'm goal oriented and often achieve what I set out for. That's why I'm optimistic about this attempt at an online match. I stay physicaly active, but can't escape the foodie inside me (and neither can my belly). I get overly focussed in business, but goof off more than most kids. I'm in for anything adventurous, fun, or challenging. Yes, I can come out to play. I hold doors open, nice to waiters, have many friends, keep a clean house, children like me, parents like me, I like me, I'm potty trained, and bathe at least once a week. I am very social, and I get along well in any circle. I'm often the one to start a conversation with total strangers. Few things are more fun than exploring new places (hiking trails, travel, restaurants, road trips, etc.). My flaws: I pack too much for trips, I speak too openly, and my hair is falling faster than the economy. I prefer: Stereo over TV, entertaining at home over the club scene, dogs over cats, outdoors over indoors, casual over dressy, Dexter over Houswives of, spicy over sweet, face to face over email. My looks? Well, some don't care for my hair style (what style?). Some do. Long curls with a nice giant shiny spot on top. Similar to a clown or Gallagher. I've got a personality that works well in any circle, and a character that keeps people close. I'm well known and respected in my community, well traveled, smart, good in business, involved in community affairs, and I love adventure. Few dares have been refused, and new challenges are always welcome. I want to meet someone real, intelligent, who enjoys life, figured out what truly matters, at peace, and isn't caught up in the whole "list of dating criteria" bullet points. We all have some baggage from the past, let's just learn from it and leave it in the past. I hope technology doesn't make magic and romance obsolete. I posted pictures to help describe my personality. I have several "cleaned up" shots (suit tie, tame hair), but they're old and boring.
