I'm a recovering work-a-holic who has been on a pretty successful journey toward a more healthy, active, and balanced lifestyle. I learned to snowboard a couple of years ago and it has definitely become my favorite outdoor pastime and stress reliever. I love being in the mountains, whether in the jeep or on foot. I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, 4x4. I also enjoy playing tennis, volleyball, and other sports/games. Indoors, I enjoy good films and documentaries, reading humor, and catching up on required reading that I somehow missed along the way. I also enjoy writing personal anecdotes, and I'm only now recognizing that I have always had a deep-down need to be creative, in my work and in other areas of my life.
I am easily impressed and I absolutely love to be inspired by nature, art, music, innovation, cultures... anything that's new to me. I'm really an explorer at heart, and my curiosity drives a constant desire to learn. I enjoy experiencing simple activities like First Friday Art Walk and local festivals or more extensive activities like traveling to places that challenge my comfort zone. My favorite travels include Spain, Morocco, Mexico, Chicago, and D.C., and I soaked up as much as I possibly could in each. While I have so much yet to explore, I have delayed some of this, in part, because ultimately I would prefer to create new memories with someone special.

I really love Colorado and would have a hard time leaving unless it was for somewhere else in the Western US outside California. I ride road and mountain bike all the time and spend my vacations doing that in remote locations. I would love to find someone that enjoys being outdoors, but they don't need to share the same sport. My match will have no problem with honesty, no matter how difficult the subject. Spending time with friends and family, even if it's just playing cards is enjoyable to me. Remembering little things, or going out of the way to do something just for them, etc. I feel I am pretty low maintenance and easy going. If I lose some money, or break something, I don't get that upset. I only get upset when irreplaceable things go away, like friends & family.
