I think it is important for someone dating me to understand that I was recently diagnosed as having an extremely uncommon anemia which causes an immune deficiency syndrome (1 person in 50,000.) I look healthy, I am active (work full-time and paint murals on the weekends) and I have a normal life except I have immunoglobulin infusions every couple of months and I need B12 injections 2x a month. ItРІР‚в„ўs like an oil change for my blood. Going to Dr appointments will always be part of my life and I have accepted this. This does not make me sad it makes me grateful for knowing my diagnosis (it was a mystery for a long time.) I am grateful I have good health insurance, grateful for smart physicians, and for life.
