The aroma of the salty air and breaking of the waves are refreshing and soothing; going into the water cleanses my soul … hmmm, I wonder if I use to be a mermaid! I enjoy the culinary arts; experiencing a variety of restaurants, cooking, baking and of course outdoor grilling … I hope that you will open a bottle of red wine for us and join me on the patio as we talk, laugh and create and share memories. I adore traveling and weekend getaways to Palm Desert/Springs or up/down the coast. With planning, I have had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Australia, England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Jamaica, Canada, Mexico and several US states … Italy, Spain and Greece are still amongst my long travel bucket list.
My leisure time is spent either doing absolutely nothing … aka a lazy day lounging in fuzzy lamb wool/skin slippers with a venti skinny vanilla latte or pumpkin spice latte with no whip, watching OC/NJ Housewives in bewilderment of their behavior and wondering why the heck am I watching this (it’s like a horrible accident on the 405fwy, I can’t help but look!) then switching to the History channel to rescue myself … or positively everything by attending local events (love Groupon specials), listening to live music, Angles and Ducks games, OC Performing Arts Center etc. I enjoy a relaxing bike ride on the nearby trails and a walk on the beach soaking up the sun. I am typically up for most anything. Just this summer, I had a wonderful time kayaking a few times in the Newport Beach harbor ... geez just thinking about it again is making my arms hurt!
Maybe next time you might join me and we can get a double kayak … of course I will help paddle, really I will! You then will be able to reveal to me your fun loving and gallant skills … I appreciate it very much when a gentleman opens doors, pulls out chairs and makes dinner reservations.
