Date a soulmate from United States. I see myself as average in most areas of life. I worked hard, got married, helped raise our three kids, retired and then after a 27 years of marriage found myself divorced. I have made myself a comfortable place in the world with lots of hard work, lots of luck and lots of help from family and friends and business partners. Even though I now find myself doing this I have been blessed in so many ways and am very grateful.
I can’t play an instrument but I love music with my tastes ranging from country, rock, jazz to classical. I frequently listen at home, really enjoy live concerts and have enjoyed many of the entertainment venues around LA and OC. Keeping the house in good condition with everything working as it should is always interesting but I actually enjoy solving problems so everything works fine around here. I am a person who likes to laugh at funny movies, the humor of life and at myself when I’ve done something stupid. You can see from some of my photo I like to snow ski but I am not really looking for a ski partner here I just seem to be in more photos when I am out in the mountains. I spend a lot of effort staying in good physical condition and anyone who was attractive to me would probably do the same.
My photos are recent and would allow you to recognize me if you saw me somewhere.
I realize the visual is more important to men but I expect recent accurate photos from someone whom I would like to become friends with as honesty is not just a great first step, but a foundation for anything good that may follow.
The person I am looking for is someone who, like me has good values, is honest and knows that there are things larger than our selves to believe in. I will need to find my partner attractive and while I can’t describe exactly what that “is”, I will know it when I see it. It goes without saying but there has to be a lot of common ground in our philosophical life outlook and general taste in things as well. The things people like in one another that make them want to be friends.
Things will have to start out as friendship. I am not one of those fast guys who fall in love instantly so they can “@#**%**##”. I need to get to know someone and that takes time.

I live alone in a 3 bedroom home with 2 dogs, who presently, are my best companions. I use to have roommates, but haven't for 1 1/2 years. I'm concerned about living alone for too long.
