I enjoy dogs horses, and cats--I have been parent to many in the past! I reside in Del Mar for approximately 7 months/year and Sun Valley, Idaho the other months. When in Sun Valley, I enjoy the symphony, surrounding forests,and the fascinating people of this small mountain resort village--this area of America is idyllic--wildness, beauty, few people. For me, Del Mar and Sun Valley are a perfectly balanced whole, in terms of lifestyle. I do not watch TV and attempt to budget my time --to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly! I think that human relationships offer more joy than any material possession.
I know that I am responsible for my own welfare and happiness and that we must each possess sufficient ego strength to be our own persons, albeit in combination we are a wonderful synergy that is greater than the sum of our two hearts ("In love, the paradox occurs that two beings become one and yet remain two"). I realize that a loving, fully emotionally engaged relationship does not happen without effort and I am willing to work to enrich and deepen bonding with my mate. I was married to the same woman for 40 years. Chemistry is important, personal, and difficult to predict from a few paragraphs, and a picture, but most of us know it when we feel it.
