Married had two great daughters and then moved to Colorado about 6 years ago at the time of my divorce. While in Colorado in order to survive, I bought several cookbooks and enjoyed trying many different recipes. The crockpot is my favorite kitchen appliance. So far I have been able to survive my own cooking but have always enjoyed a wide variety of restaurants. I have yet to try a cuisine that I dislike.
After I retired and sold my house in Colorado, I moved back to the San Jose area several months ago to be closer to family and escape the winter chore of shoveling snow from my driveway and the always possible summer afternoon thunder and hail storm. Plus Colorado does not have any Trader Joe's. I am always open to trying new experiences. Some of the activities that I like are hacking around a golf course, reading a good book, playing cards, hiking, camping, racquet sports, bowling, cooking, exercising, movies, watching sporting events and attending live performances. Having been born in the Chicago area I like rooting for Cubs and Da Bears. My dancing skills are a bit rusty and would enjoy improving them.
My friends say that I am laid back and do not get upset easily. My philosophy is to keep my body in as good a shape as I can in order to enjoy life as I get older. Life is a never ending learning experience. I am hoping to meet that someone special to share romance in the golden years and together enrich both our lives.
