I've spent my career in an engineering position in the aerospace industry and spent what was undoubtedly too much time at work. Atypically for engineering, though, I'm the kind of person who knows a little about a lot of things and and has a lot of seemingly unrelated interests. My goal this year is to take more time to go sailing on my CAL-25 and endulge my penchant for week-end escapes to Mexico, Catalina and Palm Springs. I'm a Southern California native, but I do like to travel (had the chance to see Jamaica on several hedonistic fun trips and Fiji and Guatemala on two church trips the last nine years as well as a brief trip on Germany's "Romantic Highway" and a week in the eastern French Riviera). My idea of becoming truly educated is to get to know other people's land and lives on a first hand basis by walking for a little bit in their shoes. Other traveling goals include kayaking in the Sea of Cortez.... I'm also an officer in a small yacht club and volunteer for youth programs at the local Sea Base. Any spare time is spent taking ballroom dancing instruction with the goal of becoming less lethal on the dance floor....

Some resistance to sea-sickness would be a plus, but a sense of humor is an absolute requirement! (My friends would agree that a sense of humor was required for dealing with me....) Date someone special from California, United States. Ultimately, I am looking for a partner for life. The perfect match is a person who is fun, and active. Someone who wants to see the world and loves Orange County. A person who is an individual and can share a mutual respect for each others intrests and activities. Of course Hawaii, Bali, and Thailand are pretty exotic backdrops also. My hope is to have a friend, lover and partner who shares a mutual respect for each other. While work is important at this point of my life I am stopping to smell the roses, and other flowers. I have a unique role that allows me to do that today more than ever before.

Meet a man from California, United States. Boy, this is tough. How do you write about yourself. And how come they don't have spellcheck? I am a self employed Mortgage Broker. I work 3 to 4 days a week and mostly go to my 2nd home in Ensenada on the weekends. I just finished a coast to coast to coast motorcycle endurance ride from San Diego to Florida and back to San Diego under a 100 hours so I guess you have to say I am a little crazy. I like competition. I completed the Baja 500 last year (I thinks this means I am really nuts!) I love travel most of all. Just seeing the highway unfold before me is always a thrill. But just as much as I enjoy the wide open places I like the home life. I enjoy entertaining, cooking and spending time with friends. Variety entrigues me. I embrace many participating sports such as Golf, Bicycling, Surfing, Flying and Motorcylces and also love to spend some quiet time with a book and the high end evening at the Theatre. I don't like a nagging companion or someone who thinks it their life job to improve me. I take gentile constructive advise well and I don't try to change anyone else.
