Date a man from Pleasant Hill, United States. I`m a retired RN, well preserved, financially independent and emerging from a divorce after a 35 year relationship. No children were produced. I`m an Army vet. well traveled but prefer to explore our state and country. In my youth I`ve taught skiing, tennis, swimming/diving and many other sports. I fly fish a lot in the summer and always release them unharmed. I`m a pretty good cook, eat right and bike a few times a week to stay in shape. It would be nice to find a like-minded, non-smoking (vaporize ok) companion who is interested in sharing some of these activities. At this stage of my life, time is my most valuable asset. I can`t think of a better use of that time than to find someone to share it with. The best outcome would be that we both found what we were looking for . . . .
Meet a soulmate from Pleasant Hill, United States. I am pretty open, caring, spontaneous, and love good humor. Divorced and retired from Silicon Valley, I explore, do exciting things and generally mess around. I draw the line at cage fighting, however.
My goals in life are to continue the rich experiences and to leave the world a slightly better place than when I arrived. It would be great to find someone with whom to do that.
In the meantime, I keep busy with a nice collection of friends, consulting to owners of mid-cap businesses who are looking forward to retiring and volunteering at the Lawrence Hall of Science at U.C. Berkelely.
I am nicely educated - both formally and in life -and full of interests. Things like checking out new things, reading, puttering, creating, the San Francisco Symphony and the 49ers all excite me. So does exercising my dog and chatting with the neighbors in the morning on the golf course where I live or playing golf or going to the gym in the evening.
Like many others, I enjoy driving to the wine country or having a gang over for dinner.
For the last several months, I have been innovating exciting ways to improve human cognitive skills so that kids, their parents and grandparents can better navigate through the 21st century. For me, this is pretty important and exciting stuff.
I do not have much baggage. My biggest and perhaps only hang up is for people to be thoughtful, consistent and honest. I certainly try to be that way towards others.
I am looking for someone to share the many things I do with. She must be presentable, fairly bright, conversant and friendly. Beyond that, who cares?
