Date a man from Campbell, United States. Well, this is my final year working. Actually probably just half a year. I plan to hang up my work boots (many folks say "loafers" is a more appropriate term for me. ) I will be retiring this year after many rewarding years at NASA. No, I wasn't a rocket scientist. But many of the things I worked on exploded. They weren't supposed to though. (Not really)
Seriously, I'm a casual down to earth type of person. I like a lot of the simple things in life. Street fairs, car shows, air shows, wine & art festivals, summer lawn concerts, etc. I volunteer to help out at some of those events to help the community or charity. And to have fun, meet people and socialize. I like Sunday drives, weekend road trips, going to the coast .. Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, Tahoe etc.
With more time to fill, I'll probably start to venture further away. A few places I would like to visit are Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and maybe Alviso. (just kidding) Actually, I've never been much of a globe trotter.
But I do plan to do some traveling. I Have some friends & family back east I'll be visiting. I want to attend the Indy 500 again. The Smithsonian Institution. Oshkosh Air Show. Hawaii, Belize/Cozamel/Cancun area. And maybe even a trip to Europe.
I enjoy cycling and walking for exercise. I ride or walk the Los Gatos Creek Trail almost every day in the summer. My outlook on life is the glass is neither half full nor half empty. It's simply twice as big as it needs to be. ;-)
So I'm looking for a partner-in-crime to be with me on some of those events. Not someone who waits for me to make every move. But someone who has some plans of her own. Some we'll share,.. some not.
A Sense of humor of course, with some playful mischief thrown in.
