Date someone special from California, United States. Hard to describe myself but I will give it a try. I'm nice, intelligent, musical, curious, funny and easy going. I have a great life and looking to share it with someone likeminded. I am honest and love researching anything that interests my intellect. I play guitar but I won't force you to sing or even listen to me unless you want to participate. If you want to know anything about me, all you need do is ask and I will tell you. Currently I am working as a researcher in SF Superior Court but my passions are photography, cycling and golf. I am open to new experiences except for space travel and hot air balloon riding (I tried it once and after missing some electrical wires and landing disastrously into a grape field). I don't drink but I have been known to have a glass of wine once in a while. It's not my thing but I can still enjoy myself at a bar with the right person.
I am looking to get another dog soon so if you have any suggestions on good breed with children, I would gladly consider it. I have grown my hair long 3 times in the last 7 years and donated it to the breast cancer foundation and locks for love and will probably do it again despite the fact I get treated like a tree hugging hippy when my hair is long. I have a degree in photography, but since the invention of digital cameras, most of my skills are now obsolete. Somehow ended up as a legal researcher in SF Superior Court after a 7 year stint as a SF bike messenger, a great job but it didn't pay much so I got a related job in the court system. I really enjoy being a researcher because of the gratitude I receive when I find a needle in a haystack that changes their lives. It also taught me that I will always continue learning, even though I am no longer in a classroom. I have a 4 year old son who is intelligent and charming. He is the best thing that has happened to me gives me a new perspective on life. Caring for someone more than yourself was an epiphany for me. Now I am ready for that special someone to complete the picture so we can live happily ever after....It's a fairytail but dreams do come true. I'm lucky that way, many of mine have come true. It's not necessary that my girlfriend or partner share the same life purpose as I. I find that purpose-driven people find a lot of ways to collaborate, regardless of the modality or field of expression they are working in.
Wow, that comes across as pretty intense! I'm really not as driven as that may sound. I appreciate that the natural rhythm of life includes peace, time to relax and enjoy, and just putter around.

Date a man from California, United States. Here are a few things about me. I have a good life and am grateful for the advantages that that allows. I have good friends, live in beautiful Sonoma, am healthy, have traveled quite a bit, and can pretty much live and work on my projects wherever my computer and cell phone work which gives me a lot of flexibility to live where ever I like.
I am also as comfortable in a rustic retreat and hiking as I am at a five star hotel, or working on rafters on a remodel with a tool belt as I am talking valuations and strategy at an executive board meeting. I was trained as an artistic designer focused architect with an emphasis on finance so I have a designer eye and sensibility and appreciation of beauty, but without being pretentious about it. I am also well read and curious about most everything with a quick, creative, synthesizing intellectual mind that enjoys good humor. I love to exercise and get outside. I also value and love friends, family, wholesomeness, big hearts and minds, healthy good food, good films, learning new things, TED Talks and events, meditation, spiritual and psychological awareness and depth, sexiness and honesty, adventures / travel, and laughter, especially a child's giggles.
I love romance, and affection, and I also enjoy and am pretty good at cooking, being a handy man, and a host of other things like sharing and compromise and after years of work identifying and communicating feelings which gets that deep soulful connection for which there is no substitute. I am also a bit of an alpha male type with focused ambition, tenacity and perseverance. I am said to also be pretty heart centered and can be both compassionate and empathetic. As a result I have focused quite a bit of attention on activities to help make the world a better place and find great fulfillment in contributing to others. That's enough for now. If I were to tell you everything about me then where would be the mystery in that.
I am not doing this match experiment because I need a woman... I feel that life is better in partnership with that special someone and that we are better as human beings in partnership. I am looking for a life long relationship with a special someone who wants a deeply connected, mutually supportive relationship. I imagine she might be paradoxical, like this phrase from Martin Luther King "Power without love is reckless and abusive and Love without power is sentimental and anemic." So I would hope you are able to get dirty and clean up well, able to be responsible and fun and able to take yourself lightly, energetic and able to totally relax, into both the spiritual and material, smart and silly, sexy and sassy as well as reserved and classy, care about your health and what you eat and being clean and organized and exercising and even meditating, but not obsessed about any of it. A woman who can appreciate and be as comfortable around high culture as well as low culture / luxury as well as simple things that often are so much more meaningful and satisfying. I'd love to find a glass half full person who likes nature as well as the city, good conversation, getting ahead by doing good things for others near and far, caring for self and others, knowing what they want as well as being ok with not knowing, a person who likes to learn and share and who is also happy with what they know and do and with me being their biggest fan.
