Date a man from United States. The first thing that I need to do is take this keyboard in hand and tell you something’s about myself:
I have a great sense of humor. I’m warm and caring. I have two kids, who have families and kids of their own. I raised my son starting in the fourth grade and my daughter came to me at the start of her high school years. I was a high school volleyball coach for a number of years.
I have been taking horseback English (some jumping) riding lessons for the last three years and now I’m taking western lessons. I’m also member of the East Bay Park Mounted Patrol and their Mounted Search And Rescue (SAR) group. We (DOC and I) are also on the Contra Costa SAR team. I ride five to six times a week. On the trails I ride western. I also I like skiing in the winter, will go scuba diving any time, (I have my PAD deep water certification). I also have two bicycles and play in a summer softball league. I like to go dancing, have quiet dinners out, and spend time at home with a special lady.
I turn 66 in July this of this year (2010), my eyes are blue; I stand around 6ft tall and weight around 220 lbs. My hair is very white (It started turning white when I was fourteen). I was raised Santa Rosa Calif. My heritage is mostly German and English and my religion is Protestant. I retired in 2003 after thirty-eight years with the same company where I was a Computer Network Manager. I also put in 30 years with Army and Air Forces and retired as First Sergeant.
I have tuxes (A white one and a black one.) for the nights and blue jeans for the days (I like to wear all of them). If I look around I can a find 3 or 4 cowboy hats. I love to have fun. Have, will and do like to travel.

Meet single man from United States. It would be most valuable to share the company of someone who likes putting together social plans, for I tend to spend too much time in the back of my hermit cave. I enjoy getting out, but somehow it's not high in my skill set. Not much on sports, I more enjoy parks and museums, concerts and operas. Love driving. Love talking and listening. Yes, I sometimes talk too much - be sure you can interrupt and set me right. I don't enjoy far off-center politics nor those who make it a priority. But, at times, we must all endure for the sake of comapny & friendships. Life's been quite reasonable to me, good things have happened when I needed them the most. At times that's taken extraordinary effort, and now I'm much more into spending my time taking in the views and pleasantries of life. It's not so much about what a person is interested in. It is more about that they are self aware and that they care for my well-being as much as I care about theirs. Oh, and yes, the two cats, who employ me as their servant person, must approve.
Added: I've met my Match.com person and I plan to devote my attention to encouraging her to feel the same about me. Until then, I might be open for a few e-mails or a cup of coffee, but no more. I wish you the same success at finding your special person.
