I love live musical performances whether that be at an intimate club, beach concert or an outdoor stadium. I have varied musical tastes however most of my favorites tend to be Rock and Alternative. I'm also inspired to learn new things and most recently I have taken instruction in Golf, Surfing, and cooking.

I live two blocks from the beach where you're likely to see me walking on the strand with my dogs. Oh, and I love to spend time with them walking on the beach under a full moon, in addition to any other reason I can devise to spend more time on the sand. I love the sun and outdoors, and feel most comfortable in a pair of shorts, tank top and flip flops. I love to cook (and I'm pretty good), talk politics and philosophy, and be just plain goofy. I have a loving family living in Virginia, with four brothers, three sisters-in-law, and eleven nephews and nieces. I love living the appearance of conspicuous poverty, even though I have a great house and am not poor. You won't see me in fancy threads or driving an expensive car. I would rather walk or bike than drive whenever possible. At the end of the day, I fit in very nicely in Southern California, as I'm a bit of a granola-crunchy type... liberal but no vegetarian. I don't care much for sleeping in - carpe diem! I love to entertain, especially when I can try out some new recipes. Care to be my food taster?
I love adventure and travel. My last big (and I mean BIG) trip was a two-month trip sailing across the Atlantic Ocean. From Gibraltar, down the west coast of Africa, then across the ocean to Trinidad and Tobago. What a fantastic trip! I also love volunteering with a great group called Reading to Kids. What am I really looking for? My match ideally is fit and trim, but above all, must prefer to be active than sedentary. No couch potatoes.
