Meet a soulmate from El Cajon, United States. This is really hard -- trying to sum myself up in a few sentences. I have a good life and I'm happy, but I'm ready to share my life with a really great guy! Since I divorced when my kids were very small, raising them was my priority, not dating. (And they turned out great, so it's ok!) My son and his wife live in Las Vegas, my daughter and her husband live here in the area. No grandchildren yet. So it's just me and the dog now! So now that everyone is all grown up and married, it's my turn! I'm used to being very independent, in fact it was a necessity, but that doesn't mean that I can't share my time and myself with someone special. I don't really NEED someone, but I do WANT to find that someone special. Are we too old to have that "nuts about someone" feeling? I hope not!
Summer is here (my favorite time of year) and I love to spend time at Balboa Park (especially the movies on the lawn), outside concerts, dinner with friends, baseball games (love those minor league games too), anything that takes advantage of the longer, warmer days. It's also a great time of year for my home improvement projects. I'm almost finished painting my bedroom, living room and hall -- just some woodwork left!
I'm not a high-maintenance person and pretty easy to get along with. I'm not moody and I never get angry. I love to laugh and am pretty optimistic. I have all my original parts, and all my parts are original! That could be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for! I learned to sail many years ago and while I no longer have the strength to do some of the necessary chores...I am great at retrieval and hanging off the mast for balance. I spent one summer in Santa Cruz on a crew in the Wednesday night regattas.
I love to travel, have been all over the U.S., lived in the DC area for 6 years, Carmel for 2, San Francisco for 2, Sacramento for 14. Still so much to see. Traveled to South America, and Asia. Europe next! Or maybe Australia.

I work in a nursing administrative position, but I am an artist. Musician, needlework and porcelain. I make dolls and do original tile work, from painted scenes to "pasta" type designs, floor or wall, I am looking forward to customizing my next home.
