Date someone special from Yuba City, United States. I have been told by my friends that I have quick wit. Also, that I am giving, loving and dependable. I enjoy life, laughter and getting together with family and friends, good food, good conversation, and spending time playing cards or board games. I am blessed with a wonderful group of women in my weekly Bible Study. Volunteering at church and weekly at "A Woman's Friend" or lending a hand where needed. I enjoy dancing and listening to music, just about anything but I don't like rap or heavy metal.
I also enjoy photography and have included a collection of pictures I have taken...DC area (Smithsonian), Arizona trip (even rode the mechanical bull at Rawhide), Sparks, NV at my timeshare, ID and CA scenery, the Sutter Buttes, Sunrise-Sunset pics.
I consider myself domestic having raised four children, and Nana to nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. My only daughter and husband became parents of twins recently. I also enjoy spending time outdoors gardening and other activities, just being out in the wonderful outdoors! I like to travel, camp, hike, bicycle, go on picnics, and walk leisurely in the evenings.
My faith, family and traditional values are very important to me. I am looking for someone who has very much the same values, and is also family oriented. I attend church regularly because I like the Christian fellowship. Despite some great pain and suffering in my life, I have persevered with God's grace and am a stronger and better person because of it. I treat others as I want to be treated, with respect and kindness.
Neither am I looking for monetary things which can fade, grow old, or don't last, but for things that are of a more lasting value. I am looking for a friend first and then who knows?
