Movies are an escape to wherever they take you and allow us to see all of the wonderful imaginations of those who wrote them. I thought Avatar was outstanding,if only our world could be as structured as theirs. I am awed by the imaginations and abilities of authors who write books of any kind..
Back to the subject of about me, I am easy going. I read as much as i can, now past my phase of self help books. My interest are very much standard in comparison to others. I am very curious when it comes to how we and this place we live in was created and why, although I am positive of the fact that it was created by God. I am in the process of learning everything I can about the subject.

Also I am usually busy and on the go. I love boats and water and spend much of my time near (or on) the Pacific. I was once an avid golfer and have just resumed playing. I bought myself a set of Callaway clubs for Christmas (thank you Santa) and now speak “titanium and hybrids.” It is like riding a bicycle, you don’t forget how but need to practice to get back in the swing. I am gaining by leaps and bounds (and a few out-of-bounds).
This year I have been to Puerto Vallarta, Colorado and Las Vegas. Usually my journeys take me much further afield and I plan to get back to this type of traveling. I just signed up for a tour of the French Riviera and Paris in November 2011. Two years ago I took a 10-year old on a tour of China and the year before that I took three kids through seven countries in Europe in twenty-one days. I not only survived this, I really enjoyed every moment – well almost every moment. Frankly having an adult companion would be far preferable. A special someone is even better.
Are you a couch potato? We probably wouldn't be a good match. I like men who are active and even more importantly fun to be with. Boating is a large part of my life and I am on the water every weekend. I have been running Predicted Log races in my boat for a year now (and actually did rather well). I volunteer as a race committee member for sail boat races often – both using my boat as committee boat or going on other’s boats. I also have lots of experience with do-it-yourself projects. Do you need a helpmate?
