Date someone special from La Canada Flintridge, United States. I am active, excited to see what each day brings and have plans to live to a healthy old age (around 130?!!!) I love my work with adolescents and have no plans to retire but would make room in my life for a man who both sees and loves the strong and fragile side of me. I have the most amazing family (meaning my three children, one granddaughter, four sisters, two brothers and 17 nieces and nephews! Whew!!!!) We are close despite living all across the country.
I love the usual things.... the ocean, the mountains, travel.... sunrise (don't see THAT too often!) sunset and the midnight stars in Sedona...., people, great conversation, music (almost all kinds)and most especially taking time with that special someone.... sharing our busy days... planning adventures and/or time with our respective families. Dancing has been a lifelong love of mine. My dad taught me ballroom dancing and I learned swing and salsa as I got older. I'd love to find someone who enjoyed it too!
I've never understood the age "thing". Age is relative.... I know young people who are far older than I (and not in a good way).... they are stuck, not open to ideas, unwilling to try things or learn things.... I am in a constant state of growth.... exploring my political thoughts, finding friends of all ages and learning more and more about technology ( I've been an "Apple Girl" since Apple came out with their Apple 2E!) I love my 4GS, Ipad and Macbook... though I can't say I spend much time on Facebook or "tweeting"!
I can't say exactly what I am looking for in a partner but I know that most of us are looking for the same basics.... honesty, integrity, an ability to be open and communicate, humor etc.... It takes awhile to find that special person and along the way I hope to meet some great guys .... some of whom will become great friends and perhaps one who will be "That Special One"!! Along the way I hope we dance!!!! I look forward to hearing from you!
