I am a fairly attractive, loving and giving woman in my late 50's who would like to meet an attractive, honest and cultured man who enjoys movies, theatre, (especially fond of small theatre,) museums, music, dancing, fine dining, champagne and travel. I have been on many cruises and I do enjoy them and the destinations. So many places I still want to see, Spain , Paris and Greece are next on my list. I also enjoy entertaining and cooking( for large groups and cozy evenings for two).I am equally comfortable at an elegant dinner event or a picnic in the park. I love being spontaneous, planning a weekend trip or inviting friends for dinner. I make friends easily and always like to make people feel comfortable. I am politically liberal and, of course, one with equal tendencies would be preferable, but not mandatory. I have two sons, and now two grandsons(last one born Sept 13,2005. I always knew I would love being a grandmother; but, I never in my wildest dreams would figure that I would be this much of a "Grandmother." I know I spoil my grandsons, but what else are grandmothers supposed to do. I am very close to my brothers and sisters, their children and grandchildren . The gentleman who enters my life must know he comes into an extended family as well. I have a wonderful job, a lovely home, a great loving family and good friends, but there is one thing missing in my perfect life, a partner to share it with and I would equally want to share his. My friends say I look at the world through rose colored glasses. I say I choose to see the best in everyone and everything .

I've been told I have a great sense of humor, and I even once took a stab at stand-up comedy so I am looking for someone who can laugh at himself and life.
I am a retired elementary school teacher. Although I have volunteered for many charitable organizations, I haven't worked for many years.

I have two granddaughters who I adore so someone who likes children is a must. I have three adult children, two daughters and a son. Even though two of them live out of town I am very close to all of them.
I watch many different sports and like to go to football, basketball, baseball and hockey games. I have knee replacements in both knees so I've had to give up skiing but I still find ways (like dancing and Pilates) to get a lot of exercise.
I am a docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, (I lead tours for school groups) but I enjoy visiting science and history museums as well. I dabble in watercolor painting and have a small business making costume jewelry.
I value honesty and sincerity and I am looking for someone who shares those values.
I don't care if a man is tall or short, thin or heavy or if he has a full head of hair, as long as he is honest and can laugh with me. A major plus would be someone who's not afraid to take a spin on the dance floor.
