Good things take time. Sometimes my friends think I'm a little feisty - oh - and that I sound like Huell Howser because of my enthusiasm for a variety of things. One thing you can count on is my sincerity. I can handle being teased and can be playful too. Can you? I love my life and am looking for a great companion, someone who enjoys hiking, music, nature, learning, and just hanging out. Someone who values friendships and family. Someone who values their time - and mine.
I enjoy nature and am inspired and energized by mountains, streams, wildflowers, a summer thunderstorm and a walk in the woods. I value and invest in friendships by sharing time, food, films, hiking or other things. Reading, doing art, taking some political action, visiting museums, listening to music are a few of the things I enjoy alone or with friends. I work seasonally in a national park - I feel it is a privilege to do this work to help preserve wild places and to live part of the year in one of the most beautiful places on earth! My job is a dream come true.
In my friends, I look for a sense of humor (life is way to short not to laugh at most things), a variety of interests, easy-going nature, love of the outdoors & being active in it, interesting conversations, integrity (not perfection), and a general love of life! Did I mention a sense of humor?

I am Grateful for my daughters and life. My friends would say, I am very sweet and people love to hear me sing. I am most proud of my daughters. I raised alone.
