Date someone special from Lake Elsinore, United States. Would you still like to have some fun, not be sitting around talking about aches and pains? It's getting harder and harder to find someone who doesn't want to just watch DVDs on my couch while I fix the food....is that NORMAL? So I got rid of my couch and my TV....yeah, I really did! If I want to see a movie, I go OUT to see one. I still have a sense of adventure...I've traveled all over the world and wouldn't mind one more trip to Paris with someone I love. I went there in 2010 and found that jumping on and off the Metro got to be a bit much all by myself..I can speak French so you wouldn't need to...or how about a trip to the San Diego Zoo? We could jump on and off that big bus that carts people around. It doesn't have to be Paris to be fun. But I have to tell you, if you haven't been there, there is no city on earth like Paris...if you've been there and didn't like it at all, we probably wouldn't be a very good match.
I like spending time at home too...I've always got some art project going: sewing something or painting or making my own jewelry. I like having interesting and enjoyable things to do when I'm not teaching English as a Second Language 30 hours a week. When I cook, I am an inspired cook...but if you don't like to cook, I hope you like either going out to dinner or else eating cheese, crackers and fruit most of the time. (Don't forget the wine!) I'm pretty good with a can opener and a microwave. I love to laugh and hope you have a good sense of humor. There's really nothing better than having a glass of wine and laughing with someone you really like...please don't get all serious about politics (there's nothing we can do about this crazy government stuff except vote for the least dishonest, incompetent person who's running) or religion...at this point in life most people have pretty much made up their minds about what they believe....I don't mind discussing it...but please don't try to convert me to your "one and only true religion." Ho hum, all of you Born Again Christians. Been there, done that. Please spare me the tired old preaching trying to convert me.. I do listen to "Jesus" Sunday mornings on KFI 640 AM (6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.)
I have a gym membership... I force myself to go some of the time....I know it's necessary to stay healthy...I enjoy taking walks though. And I do want to live to be 100. I'm not a vegetarian, but I avoid red meat most of the time. I really want to have that 100th Birthday Party and see my two sons with their gray hair congratulating me for living so long...and my 32(?) great-great-great-grandkids...wouldn't that be fantastic?
I enjoy all kinds of music except the kind that some people call music but which really isn't...you know what I mean...I was born in Missouri, but left when I was about a month old, and have never returned. I've traveled all over the world, but haven't been back to Hannibal. It's on my "bucket list" along with learning to do the Tango and play the piano. I say it's never too late...I just need some time to do the things I've always wanted to do. How about you? What's on your "bucket list"?
I'm looking for a man who is mature enough to realize that in the long run he'll be more content with a woman who has a similiar background educationally as well as "historically"....i.e., Can you remember where you were when JFK was assassinated? Be my friend.....seduce my mind and soul first with your intelligence, character and humor....also, .if you live more than 50 miles from Lake Elsinore, I don't think we're a good match. It's too hard negotiating all that driving back and forth...much too hard to get to know each other with that distance between us. (If you really think we're a match made in heaven, and you live kind of far away, please be prepared to get a motel room. My house is not "Heartbreak Hotel" as some men have wanted to turn it into. WINKS are nice, but I would much rather you wrote to me. Thank you.
