I do have a good and eventful life, a great daughter, family and friends in many different places around the world.
Being able to spend time with family is very important to me, which means I have to travel quite a bit.

I love to get dressed up, but I'm just as comfortable in an old pair of jeans when working in my garden. I also have a lot of business suits in my closet.
I would probably be described as a big time Foodie! I love to to eat, cook, read about and discuss food and it's preparation. I also believe I can contribute to my own health and longevity by making intelligent choices when it comes to food. That does not mean that I won't eat dessert!
Since I also care about the environment, most of what I consume is organic and locally grown. Eating is not just a culinary act, but has become one with profound political, economic and environmental consequences. I believe in Community Supported Agriculture and try to live green without going to an extreme.
One of my favorite pastimes is to explore new restaurants. Big or small, stars in Guide Michelin or a hole in the wall. It's always an adventure.
I am looking for a good man - to use the cliche; - one who is intelligent, interesting, loving, attractive, and understands himself and what he wants and is able to communicate that to me. A man who can be warm, loving, nurturing and supportive when I need that, and who in turn wants the love and support I can provide when that is needed. Someone whose advice and counsel I not only trust but seek out. A trusted best friend, confidant, partner and lover who wants to live life to the fullest.
I value empathy and sincerity as well as a good sense of humor, but please - no jokes at someone else's expense. Great attraction and chemistry are important but strangely enough does not always show up on the first date.
I'd love to have someone to laugh with, discuss important events with, read The New York times with or just enjoy quiet and special moments with.
Being in a loving relationship makes everything twice as much fun and brings joy, warmth and another meaning to life.
