We produced 3 wonderful sons and I currently have 2 adorable grand-daughters! So, I know how to compromise, love, laugh, and enjoy life! We are all very close and have a wonderful time together!

I believe, and I'm told , I'm lots of fun but certainly can be serious, compassionate and carry on an intelligent conversation. I love news talk radio, Politics,(I actually listen to both sides!) , movies, going out to dinner and travel.

Sorry, I HATE camping, but enjoy capturing nature and animals with my photography. I do love, water and the outdoors, but camping does not appeal to me. (Doesn't have to be 5 star hotels, but I do like to be comfortable and love room service when I'm by myself. If I'm with you..well.......! )

Intellectually, I seem to be serious and then silly and sometimes one, in the middle of the other. I'm open minded regarding favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food but don't like violent, gross or scarey books, movies, shows and music. I have a great little RV and spend lots of time in Yosemite, Yellowstone, Wildlife Refuges, or at the coast, with my camera. I'm a mostly-retired Advanced-Practice RN, and also a professional nature photographer I'd love it if you had some interest in photography - but this is certainly not required. I have a great kayak, too, that has been unused far too long. I love anything to do with water - I was raised in Ohio on Lake Erie, have often had boats. I lived and cruised on a great 55 ft power yacht (half mine) for 3.5 years in the 90's . Bringing it from the East Coast back to Oregon through the Panama Canal was an incredible adventure. I'd love to do some serious boating again before we get too old.
I also enjoy the theatre, occasional symphony, musicals, and other "city" things, as well as meaningful volunteer work. Dinner and a movie is always a fun, low-key evening. Add some ice cream afterwards, and it becomes perfect! Almost anything is nice with good company!
I treat people with respect and honesty and need this in a partner. I love to travel, and would like to see many more places in the world, with a warm hand to hold. Weekends away are nice, maybe every few months, and a more extended trip a couple times a year if possible.
A quiet home life is also very important to me., and I spend many peaceful evenings reading by the fire, playing board games, watching a movie, or just talking and sharing with friends. I hope you enjoy this too.
