I was bitten by a snake 3 times and was told if it bites more than once, it’s probably not poisonous. The only things I miss about Florida is the 23 acre off-leash dog park that 8 of us founded on Lake Baldwin in Winter Park and scuba diving off the keys.I miss skiing.For more than 20 years I tested the junior racing ski for Yamaha in Japan and Head here in the states. Unbelievable free vacations, but my skiing days are over.

In my 20РІР‚в„ўs I was having too much fun playing engineer and skiing,in my 30РІР‚в„ўs and 40РІР‚в„ўs I was having too much fun re-habing foreclosures and skiing(lived in Denver for 17 years). In my 50РІР‚в„ўs I was building my business in FL and 1 day realized that I was over 60,and it was time to look for that special someone to share the rest of my life with or just a glass of wine.

Learning is very important to me. I believe that every day should be a learning experience and learned real early that if you need a kid for the day, like to get into the ChildrenРІР‚в„ўs Museum, they are very easy to borrow.So-no kids(or grandkids), but do, with great difficulty, maintain favored Aunt status.And, in РІР‚в„ў87 played host to a 16 yr old Japanese boy ( who spoke virtually no English-they lied). And I realized that I remembered more Japanese than I ever thought I knew.Great fun interacting with the other exchange students and Friday nights when I would have 4-5 boys over for Sushi.

I am the proud owner of 1 beautiful, but dumb dog. He is a blonde Chow, my 4th out of the same blood-line. I bought for temperament because I train them as hospital therapy dogs.(Brians might have been better) I had to go to Little Rock, Arkansas for him-yes ,people really live there. Of course there is no easy way to get there-a 19 hour round trip. Not all bad…he doesn’t dig(What…get my paws dirty?),doesn’t shed like other dogs (Chows have furr,not hair) but he has selective hearing..After my knee replacement we had some serious discussions about who is the Alpha dog. The trainer thinks he should be the ambassador for the breed, so smart, not a vicious bone in his body.I think he’s retarded or we wouldn’t have to repeat these discussions.
What you do(or have done) is not nearly as important as who you are.And who you are going to be and how you plan to get there.
