Date someone special from California, United States. Ok this is the part that I am supposed to tell you about me and what I am looking for, so here goes. I have 3 grown children, 5 adorable Grandchildren and 1 amazing Great-Grandson, I have been blessed with a great family and many friends. I take life one day at a time as it is given to me and live it to the fullest, as that old saying says "Life is Short" and I am lucky enough to still be kicking, I would say that is a huge plus at this age (smile). My family and friends would describe me as crazy, funny and the life of the party, I love to laugh, have a good time, laughter to me is the best medicine there is, watching a great comedy that leaves exhausted from laughter is the best!!! There is no room for drama in my life, no extra baggage is allowed.(smile) Things I enjoy are good conversation, great glass of wine, short day trips to the wine country, beaches or mountains, cooking and BBQing. I am very low maintenance doesn't take much for me to be happy, just the warmth of a good man, a little romance, maybe flowers once and awhile, a hug and kiss well, lots of hugs and kisses would really make me a happy camper (smile)

I love to read mysteries, detective stories, books of that sort. Favorite authors: Lee Child, Patricia Cornwall, Nelson DeMille, James Lee Burke, and others..... Read the three books by Steig Larsson "Girl with Dragon Tatoo" and the other two. Will go see the movie.
I used to live in Manhattan Beach, so love the ocean...not to surf, just to sit near it, eat near it, watch the waves, etc.....go to Monterey every chance I get.
I watch NCIS, Psych, Burn Notice, L & O, Dexter....not so much reg TV, some of the shows are just too STUPID (my opinion)
I'm loyal to my family and friends. To the others, well, I won't be calling anymore...
I've white water rafted with my son and friends, hiked down from Glacier Point in Yosemite. Needed better hiking boots for that one. I have driven all over California, but know there is more to see. My last car finally died after 240,000 miles I put on it.
Happy in my life, but I am looking to share it with someone who has same values, humor, adventurous spirit, can handle change, positive attitude, is open minded, loving, kind and all around good person, but I think we all are hoping to meet that person, aren't we?
