Being part of the “sandwich” generation, I moved to the Palm Springs area from Lake Tahoe to take care of an Alzheimer’s parent (who has since passed away), then went back to work and now find myself living 7 miles from the ocean. I try to visit the beach for a quiet sunrise or sunset about once a week, it gives me perspective.
My kids are absolutely the joy of my life and what I consider my crowning achievement. Now that they are grown and on their own, it is time for me to explore the next phase of my life. I visit my grandbaby often, I have found the fascinating world of working with clay, and I read voraciously.
