My roots began in Riverside, CA. Taking off from there lived several places in Southern California. As a military brat traveled across the U.S. 2 times. Once to go to Germany, lived there 4 years, a second time to New York, lived there 1 year. Texas, Pennsylvania, Northern California. I would say that laid the way for being a wanderlust kind of person.
Love to do State Fair, Live theater, Game night at friends. Family is important and try to do things with them when family is gathering to celebrate life for whatever reason.
My nursing job is a challenge every shift. I have been a dialysis nurse over 25 years and love what I do.

A special cheers to this new year 2011, life can only get better! 2011 was good! 2012 has started out fantastic, a trip to Maui in February. Snow train trip to Reno and back n March. I'm not interested in getting my bills paid... I do that for myself... After decades of striving for promotions and job opportunities, money is no longer a prime motivator, enjoyment is. While having money is enjoyable, having time for reflection and companionship are more valuable. Confession: I hate to shop and don't except for necessities, i.e. I'm not consumer-driven or overly influenced by aggressive marketing--having lots of "stuff" is nice but its pursuit doesn't appeal to me.
