This kind of bonding should be the norm, and not the exception, if only we would drop our guard and our ego and just be vulnerable to one another as fellow human beings. Honesty, integrity, compassion, an open and loving heart, and personal responsibility are important to me. I am very sociable and love getting together with my children, grandchildren, friends, and relatives, and meeting new people. Cooking and entertaining are a joy to me and I would be lost without this kind of social interaction. That is not to say that I wouldnРІР‚в„ўt enjoy the company of a significant other over a cup of coffee, a good book, with no conversation, because that silence would indicate to me that we are totally compatible and comfortable with one another without idle chatter. I am very attracted to intelligent conversation with a person who has an open mind, and that personРІР‚в„ўs viewpoints donРІР‚в„ўt necessarily have to be the same as mine, as long as it is rational and has some basis in fact. I donРІР‚в„ўt do well with people who are racist, intolerant, inflexible, and stubbornly opinionated. Control issues are also a problem for me because I do not like to be controlled. We are all independent souls and we should respect each personРІР‚в„ўs dignity as well as each personРІР‚в„ўs own space. I am not perfect so I donРІР‚в„ўt expect perfection in someone else.
