Date a soulmate from California, United States. I am a very healthy, happy and active person looking for someone to share life--all of it! From the little day to day things like cooking a meal, planting a garden to bigger things like traveling or taking on building projects. I want to grab any adventure that might come my way and want a partner that feels the same way. I would rather be a bit sore from a strenuous hike than play it safe! (I would draw the line at motorcycle riding and sky diving, though!). I have a secret wish to build an entire house--doing most of the work with my partner.
I have not yet traveled enough and would hope a partner and I could take at least one trip every year. I can never get enough of Alaska. Would love to see the Smokey Mountains and hike part of the Appalachian Trail. How about walking across England? I really enjoy pairing travel with service. I have done several Habitat for Humanity trips and would like to share that with a partner.
Family is very important to me. My children and their families all live close by and I spend time with most of them regularly. I have a small but intimate group of friends in this area as well. I would hope a partner would enjoy my family and friends and would hope to be able meet the important folks in his life, too.
I envy folks who can write well, especially about themselves. Since I am obviously not one of those folks, I would ask you to spend some time getting to know me. In the meantime: ISFJ on Meyers Briggs, would rather listen than talk until I feel secure, have done my work around relationship and feel there is always another layer to investigate, between fairly extroverted travel tend to live a quiet simple life. I spent many unforgettable and wonderful years wrapped up in raising children. They have been launched for many years. Once the youngest was past returning home for summers, I trusted my gut and moved to Alaska where I loved life under the midnight sun and even enjoyed the darkest days of winter for 5 plus years. Have returned to CA in the last 18 months to be close to an impressive group of 6 grand children (all 4 and under!). I enjoy being Nana but...see my opening statement...
