As for me I love to laugh and smile, easy going, friendly,afectionate, comfortable in most situations from evening gowns to camping. I have recently retired from a successful sale career and have as of June moved back from Hawaii to the Central Coast. I loved Kauai but with a new Grandson in California I knew I wanted to be closer. Seeing them once or twice a year would not be good enough. Although I loved Hawaii and it will always be in my heart I am excited about creating a new life here on the central coast and persuing my dream of an artistic life. So long walks on a beautiful tropical beach where not a dream but a reality.
I have always felt I had a creative side but never found the medium I was interested in until a couple of years ago. With a friends encouragement I now display my art in a few galleries on Kauai and hope to get involved in the art community here on the central coast. There is no greater reward tha the satisfaction of creating a work of art and having someone fall in love with it. My desire is to expand my knowledge and abilities.
My daughter wrote recently that I am "Happy, social, vibrant, fun, confident, appreciative, present, loving, knowledgable and kind. Meeting challenges beautifully, head on and with courage.". I think this would be a great description of what I am looking for in a partner.
A trip to the produce mart and a gourmet meal from the catch of the day,a glass of wine, ah..life is good. Love movies, plays, good wine and friends. IA long walk, a hike just getting outdoors is what I enjoy. Skiing, water skiing, boating, fishing. I excersize at least 4-5 times a week.

i don't like bars. or bar-flies. i like moody blues, pink floyd, and pearl jam, imelda mae, good blues, live oak, herbs, animals. i gave all of me to my husband, and now i have to start over with nobody, my family is over 1000 miles away and this area is the only place i want to live, it's so beautiful, i just have to find a new circle of friends. have you heard of live oak? 3-day music festival, camping close to cachuma lake on father's day weekend.
I love animals, and currently have 2 Rottweilers and 3 cats, a saltwater 'bio-cube' , and a fish pond with goldfish and koi.
I used to be a gym-rat, body sculpting years ago, and have kept in shape through the years, I like to be active, as well as couch potato-it! I ove TV, into True Blood, and Weeds, and Shameless and Game of Thrones and Desparate Housewives and Sexin the City to name a few of my favorites.
I actually hate computers, having worked on one for the last 20yrs....don't like facebook, takes too much of my time! I'm very outdoors-y, and indoors-y too!
I'm currently trying to set up my greenhouse at my new place, and that's fun too. I used to tube the Kern River, the rapids were a lot of fun, never sky-dived although I came very close once (the wind wasn't right), but that's on my list!
I can cook, I can fish, and I love to play. I'm eager to start living again.
