I feel blessed each day that God has provided a wonderful life for me. I would like to meet a man that is active, enjoys the outdoors or just feels comfortable talking. I am very close to my family as they have helped me through many trials over the last two years.
I am happy with myself and loved being a wife, mother and grandmother and miss the companionship of doing activities with a spouse. I know God does not want us to be alone forever, I enjoy my quite time, spending time with my friends but I feel I still have a lot to offer in life and I know God has a plan.
We can all list numerous things we have done over the years, as we mature some of those adventures we still do and others we leave for our children to enjoy.
Most people see me as that girlie type at first, but there has always been a little Tom Boy in me because I was always helping my dad as a child. I moved to Bakersfield 22 years ago, I was born and raised in Northern California. At one time I had a small ranch and raised bird dogs, horses, cattle and sheep. I love to hunt and use to be very good at it, I still like to trap shoot once in awhile with friends from church. I did AKC dog shows and field trials with Brittany's. I like the mountains best and the coast when it's not so damp. Going kayaking, hiking and maybe fishing again.
I took up riding motorcycles at the age of 50 and still have one (BMW R1200R, I have sold the Harley's) and I'm not ready to hang that adventure up, I even like to ride on the back of the motorcycle.
My son lives in Montana with my grandson's both starting college this year, one will be playing football (the shortest one in the pictures).
I feel that a man should make the first move. If I WINK at you it is because we may have something in common. I may add you to my favorites because we have the same interest. I'm not sure of how this online dating communication works so I don't want to come across to strong. If we don't have anything in common then we should be up front.

I enjoy Sunrises and Sunsets, long walks on the beach or sitting along a lake. I am independent but I like someone that can take charge (gently of course). I enjoy taking pictures and take lots of them, sometimes I am even surprised at how good some turns out. I enjoy motorcycle rides (even though it has been a long time).
Some of my favorite music is Kenny G, Enya, Eagles, Foreigner, Rod Stewart, Oldies but Goodies. Some of my favorite TV shows are any of the CSI shows, The Glades, Falling Skies, The Firm. I like Action, Detective and Sci Fi (not to gruesome though).
I have 2 Standard Schnauzer dogs, one I started showing about a year ago with my sister. I've met a lot of very interesting people at the dog shows. I do some traveling to go to different dog shows. So a person must me a dog lover. I like all animals, but dogs have always been in my life since birth.
