I can be quiet at times but can be pretty outgoing, depending on the setting. I think this comes from my strong inclination to make everyone feel comfortable in the room.
I can be very organized (necessary for my job), but I don't have to plan everything. I love to travel and get to go on a couple of big trips for work each year. I'd love to do more of it, and of course, with someone else.
I do work hard but make a big effort to balance my life. Took me a long time to realize that quantity of hours spent at work does not equal quality of work. Hope you feel the same way.
I have been told that I should emphasize here that I love to cook. I do and wish that I had more time to try new dishes. Recent late hours at the office haven't made this easy, so my cooking has been more functional lately. I'd also love to cook for someone else, of course.

What I'm looking for:
A guy who makes me laugh (cliche but key) and has similar values and goals. Hopefully, we share some of the same interests, but we don't have to do everything together. He is ambitious but not obsessed with work. He wants a family at some point. He also loves his friends and family and treats them well. I really don't like beer. I have tried, but I am a wine and cocktail type of girl. I do challenge you to find a beer that I'll like. I'm open to it.
Redundant, but I love food, eating out and cooking in - everything from cheap comfort food to six-course gourmet meals. Hope you do, too.
I don't watch a lot of sports, but I love it when I do. I also rock March Madness, with the exception of this year. Damn you, UNC.
I don't often go camping or hiking, but that doesn't mean I won't.
I tend to tear up at most of the cliche TV and movie moments. I am a marketer's dream.
I like going out but don't go out every night. Sometimes it can be nice just to have a glass of something and watch a movie.
Oh, and I cannot park and am generally directionless. I've learned to build in 15 minutes to get lost.
In spite of the above, I am really open to doing things, even if they are out of my comfort zone, especially if they are something you enjoy. I just may not go camping with you every weekend or throw back a beer when I want to relax. I will match you in drinking but likely with wine.

Meet someone special from United States. Wow...how do you describe yourself in 4,000 characters? For starters, I'm a So Cal girl living in a Nor Cal world...
I'm outgoing and active, and have a big sense of adventure. I'm not the person who has built up weeks of vacation time because I love getting away as often as possible, especially spontaneous weekend trips. If you asked me what my dream vacation would be I could give you 5 answers. I'd love to travel across Europe and take in the culture (have to do Oktoberfest in Germany at some point and definitely want to see a World Cup game in Europe), I'd love to ski Whistler and Banff (and the Alps someday-different continent, I know), I'd love to snorkel in the Caribbean, I'd love to rent an RV and drive across the US and take in everything from baseball/football games to national parks to the largest ball of twine. At the same time, I am comfortable with nights out on the town in the little black dress and heels or board shorts and a bikini top on a beach.
Family is very important to me so I want someone that appreciates their own family. You can learn a lot about someone by their relationship with their parents. So that was me in a nutshell...now you...I want someone who loves to be adventurous, but at the same time, thinks cooking dinner together and curling up on the couch with a movie and a glass of wine is a great night (I know, how cliche does that sound, there's probably 500 other profiles with the same thing, but some of us really mean it :) ).
