Some books I have read and liked within the past year include:"1491" "The Sales Bible", "The Tale of Murasaki", and" Buddhism, The First Millenium". I also like poetry especially, Emerson, Whitman, Sappho, and Murasaki Shikibu. I am interested in science, finance, (although I vote liberal), world politics, social issues, and all kinds of visual art. I like to create art too. My taste in film is eclectic but I gravitate towards documentaries, "Art House", films, and some comedies and action adventure.. I don't watch a lot of television but do like Nova, Independent Lens, Bill Moyers, Steven Colbert and John Stewart.
I like to go to galleries and new museum exhibits, live theater, and other performing arts. What don't I like? Horror movies , hunting, and factory farming.
I like to travel but don't have unlimited free time. Where would I like to go next? The Eastern coast of Japan and Sado Island. I love Europe and would love to go back there too. I think I would love to travel almost anywhere.
