My free time has to filled with people I care about. I am laid back and love to play things by ear. Meet at 7 for dinner? Sure. Movie? Why not. As long as my friends are family will be there.
I guess if I had to choose one word to describe myself it would be loyal. My best friend is still the little blonde girl I met in the 1st grade. In my opinion, if you care about someone, you are there for that person regardless of the situation.
My family is my life, I would be completely lost without them. I am the oldest of 4 girls. Yes we fought like crazy growing up. Yes, I hated sharing my room. Now that we are all growing up at little bit, they are my best friends. The first people I think to call and tell good news too are my sisters. I feel like family is the most important thing in life and it is important to me that whoever I am with shares the same connection with their family. I know I was blessed with an incredibly amazing and loving family and I thank God for that.
I love to have fun. I know that is a general statement and almost everyone says that, but I can have fun in any situation. Sitting on my couch watching tv, talking on the phone, driving to work, waiting in line, going out, watching games. I try to find humor in everything and I try to make everyone laugh, even if it is at the expense of myself.
I love my career. I just moved back to Santa Barbara from St. Louis and will start a new job in the next month. I am excited to meet new people and start a new job but I will miss the family, friends, and job I left in St. Louis. I do leave that city with a hige love of baseball, and of course my St. Louis Cardinals. I brought my #5 shirt with me so I can wear it at Angel games.

Being a teacher is something I have wanted to do my whole life and I enjoy every minute of it! My students will tell you that I am addicted to coffee, a neat FREAK in the classroom, someone who loves to dance and sing during class, go to bootcamp and incorporates it during class time (those videos will not be shared), and someone who is there for them whenever they need me. I also love a good run on the beach, a fun day wine tasting downtown, and a nice home-cooked meal.
I want to find someone who is passionate about what he wants in life and has fun doing it. I believe that communication is important in helping create a relationship. I hope to be able to find someone whom I can be myself around and someone who pushes me in ways to be a better version of who I am and want to continue to become.
