I am the father of two beautiful grown women and three grandsons. Originally from Indiana, I moved to Sacramento in 2000.
I was fortunate early on in my professional career travel the U.S. and International to great locations including Ireland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand. Since living in Northern California, I have enjoyed Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco and Napa Valley Wine Country. I'm now on a path to simplify my life, stop and smell the roses along the way, and enjoy simple pleasures. I am ready to relax, smile and enjoy good company. Let's explore fun travel sites, go on a horseback ride, explore a state park and have a picnic. It's time now enjoy life. I have a big family (all from one woman) because I love a big family. I have 7 kids from 19-30 years old. They are average hard working, street smart and fun people. Career: Ex Coast Guardsman, Aerospace career working mostly on satellites, and now CEO of a high tech company in Roseville I founded which produces scientific imaging systems for astronomy and research. The light of the stars that you see took anywhere from thousands to millions of years to reach us. You are never seeing space as it is now, but rather glimpsing back into a distant time. And you thought that guys who played with computers were boring. My degree is in Electrical Engineering.
Family: I have a 20 year old son living away going to UC Davis for his Engineering degree and permanent proud step-father to a 20 year old daughter serving in the Air Force.
For the dis-enchanted: I run across profiles that have a lot of anger in them. You can't trust guys, they just think about sex, they aren't what they say they are, etc. As a guy I have had some pretty hurtful experiences, and I am not perfect. I have my bad days, but I am truthful. No one sex has a monopoly on hurt or deceit. It is a great part of a great relationship.
