There is a lightning storm happening right now and its the coolest thing. 230 AM, Sunday night, my daughters tucked away in bed and I can't sleep. The thunder rolls in the distance (Garth Brooks reference), the horses are spooked and the country is alive with the animals responding to the unusual weather. I feel full of life and happy to be a participant in this world. I am excited to see what Gods plans are for me tomorrow and whom I may meet on the journey. I figured somehting out no too long ago. Im by no means perfect, and thats exactly the type of person I'm looking for. I realized that even though things may not be the way that I want them, as long as I'm growing in my relationship with Jesus, nurturing my daughter and raising her with values and morals that I was introduced to through faith, and open to go wherever and do whatever God leads me to do, I will find happiness and peace.
I have not always been happy, I've had some challenging things happen in my life, and I was an active participant... All I can do is look at my part in it, because thats the only thing I can change, repent if necessary, and move on. In relationships there will be challenges, and I'm actively seeking someone that realizes that and is willing to better themselves for the sake of the Father first, and the relationship.
Kids are great. They truly motivate me to be the best person that I can around them... Do you agree? I try my hardest not to cuss, I remember to say my prayers before eating, etc, etc. I have an 11 year old daughter and I'm big on family and tradition. I have my daughter for the summers and she is my whole world. If you have kids, thats cool, it wouldn't be my first rodeo! :)

Im reading Real Marriage by Mark Driscoll and in the introduction something hit home. Meet a man from California, United States. Just moved to the Sacramento area to coach a football team. I have also lived in Oregon (2), Texas, Arizona, Illinois, Stockton, San Jose, and Northridge.
I have been on match but never done anything really cause I knew I was moving. But now that I am kinda settled in Roseville for the time being I figure it is time to actually look. I have two awesome little girls who live with their mom, but no drama or anything like that at all.
