So what can I tell you about me…I’m generally pretty quiet and soft spoken, enjoy good conversation, consider myself thoughtful, sensitive and interested in trying to understand where others are coming from; a good listener. I enjoy time w/ friends and family, my work, as well as time alone reading and working around the house. I enjoy listening to current pop music finding it so fresh and vibrant w/ some of my favs being Good Life, Pay Phone (sans the mean sounding rap snippet), Come On Get Higher, Drive By (great beat) Just a Kiss (great lyircs!). I like heroic tales and still believe and marvel in everyday people doing great things often unseen and unnoticed. Dedicated mothers are a good example. All my life I’ve dreamt of finding a very special person. I've met a few along the way and have come close but, as you can see, still looking. Another fav: Hello by Lionel Richie. That’s one beautiful song…and video. I was talking w/ some of my grown kids the other day about movies. I told them I saw a good one recently (Notebook) that I enjoyed very much (they’re few and far between) for which they yawned and said “just another run of the mill chick flick”…ha!...a good commentary on how many I’ve seen…and our different perspectives: them still very much immersed in the pop culture and really just getting started w/ their adult lives, and myself farther down the road having recently experienced my father pass thru Alzheimer’s and now longing for another kind, loving and passionate relationship.
Now that the kids are grown and out the door I find my work more interesting and challenging than ever and enjoy it very much. For vacations enjoy mixing in lots of physical activity w/ what my travel buddy and I call "adventure" travel. The last few years having hiked in the Peruvian Jungle and Andes, Utah canyons, rafted and hiked the Grand Canyon and last year Glacier Nat. Monument. That said, I’d wouldn’t mind a change of pace to Cabo w/ someone special.
What I’m looking for in a woman: For starter’s I’d have to say one that has a mother’s heart: kind and tenderhearted and then romantic, playful, affectionate, compassionate, passionate, enjoys laughing, a wonderful smile, enjoys good conversation, a little shy, feminine, attractive, beautiful.
