I am originally from Japan, but moved here to N.California as a child, 5’1” 125lbs, athletic build, with sound mind and body…never been married with no kids…though I'm open to the possiblity of having one.
Everyone has their own ideal person and I guess I'm no different..but I tend to gravitate towards those who are happy, have an open mind and heart towards others and within themselves..that is someone who is innately kind, funny, tolerant, curious and respectful of other people. Someone who has passion and is passionate about people, hobbies, and their work. I know its nearly impossible to be totally compatible (though some would disagree), but I think a good relationship is often based on some commonality (as a starting point) with a little give and take and also the willingness and the openness to embrace or experience new things.
I enjoy life..with an interest in a variety of things as a panacea from the daily grind. I try to live a simple and healthy lifestyle. I'm most happiest when I'm spending time with friends or family and doing things I enjoy (even by myself) such as relaxing by watching movies either in theatres or at home, soaking in a jacuzzi tub, visiting art galleries and museums (especially art from the classics to modern avant garde), creating art (esp Japanese origami, kirgami collages), browsing book stores, antique shops, cafes, visiting wineries, digital photography, going to concerts, attending sporting events (Giants, 49ers, Warriors, A's, Sharks), and weekend getaways. I also have a passion for crisscrossing the country on train trips and by car (Route 66 anyone?) dining out (and trying out various ethnic cuisines), hole in the wall wine bars and coffee houses. I can and do enjoy music of all types..80's new wave mixed in with a little soul, jazz, country, raggae, and classic rock. I also like to run, walk, bike ride, roller skate and workout at the gym.
Although I'm not great at it, I do enjoy cooking (grilled filet of sole anyone?), and yes disciplined enough to regularly clean and actually take out the garbage and vacuum the house without being asked! I'm not a neat freak, but I like to live in a nice place...and keeps me free of allergies :-)
My family relationship is also important to me. I like to visit my parents as often as I can. I hope my match also does too. :-)
I enjoy being with people, but can equally be comfortable in my own space and time (don't we all have those moments?) and I am defintely not clingy...if you need some time with friends or just be reflective and spend some time alone..please do!
