I am a High School Physics teacher and will be starting my fifth year teaching this fall. My prior life had me working as a researcher in a Corporate Lab in Palo Alto for fifteen years but when the high tech bubble collapsed and left many of us without jobs, I was left reassessing my priorities. While married at the time, my wife was an endless source of encouraged that got me through the torture that was the two years of credential certification and one year of BTSA (don't ask!). That was a crazy time: I was teaching full time and going to school with a full load. Looking back now, I am much better for it and I am eternally grateful to my late wife's encouragement because now I have the greatest opportunity every year to encourage, excite, and befriend over one hundred and sixty young people who teach me as much as I try to teach them.
I look forward to having the chance to share more of my story face to face. Maybe a hike in the woods, flying kites on the beach, fishing, or just a trip to Barnes and Noble, I'd love a chance to meet you. Maybe this could be the first step , , , ,

My pictures are recent...I tried to take a few more pics to add, but dislocated my shoulder after hyper-extending for a great shot using my camera phone. I will be fine once both arms are the same length again. I'm quite happy, and I have no expectations with Match; it is like mixing a bowl of Lucky Charms and Raisin Bran together. Sometimes you'll get a raisin, most of the time a flake, but on rare occasion, a charm. (My first analogy was with Grape Nuts...).

I've lived here in the Los Gatos/Campbell area my whole life and graduated from Los Gatos High, starting my own company about a year later building race cars and racing components. Most of my friends and family live in the area and I greatly enjoy spending time with both when possible. I own a home and definitely more muscle cars than I should. (It's an illness) My company has led me to be on a number of TV shows recently which I've greatly enjoyed and am looking forward to several more.
Who am I looking for?
A Woman with a sense of humor is probably tops on my list. Laughter IS supposed to be the secret to longevity.

All of us can be creatures of habit at times, but being able to delve outside the realm from time to time keeps things interesting!
Passion is important too. From the things in our day to day lives to the intimate side. Why would you have a job that you weren't passionate about any more so than that number one person in your life?
I try to stay fit and feel that I would likely be most compatible with someone else that feels the same way, as trying to look your best goes hand in hand with staying healthy as well, but not to the point of obsession. (Never be too inflexible) MMmmmmmm..........Pizza!
Hi performance cars and all things related to them play an important role in my life, as that's both what I do for a living and one of my biggest hobbies too, so having at least a casual interest in this area couldn't hurt.
