Date a soulmate from California, United States. What I am not. I am not into serial dating (way to complicated). I have absolutely no interest in prolonged cyber chatting. I will never ask you for a "picture" (Cmon, who does that?).
I am in a pretty good place. My two kids are pretty much grown and are all but on their own. I have a good solid career that provides me with a lot of satisfaction and allows me to give back to the community (its like having your cake with extra ice cream and icing). But my job does not consume me. Things are really good, I just am needing somebody to share with.
I like to think of myself as very genuine, down to earth, kind and honest, old fashion values. I'm not perfect by any stretch, but I try to do the right thing. I am not into unnecessary drama or games, total waste of time and effort. My humor tends to be a bit dry and can get me into trouble. I open doors and hold chairs, my Mamma brought me up right. I like to get out and have fun, very easy going.
I am very active and like to do almost anything outdoors, hiking, swimming, cycling, kayaking, almost anything. Maybe not skydiving, but could be talked into hang gliding, maybe. I really enjoy the beach any time of year, walking the dogs, swimming. I'm not much of a clubber. I can't dance to save my life, always embarrassing for me and anybody i am with. But I do enjoy going out, dinners, wine, concerts, theater, comedy clubs, hanging out with friends. But I also like to cook and have a quiet night at home watching a movie, whatever. Love to travel and see new places be exposed to things I have not seen or done before. Truthfully, if your with the right person it does not much matter what your doing, its all good.
I exercise and work out almost every day. Not only does it just make me feel better, it helps make the weekend activities much more fun.
I am really looking for somebody who wants a long term relationship. Somebody who has the same core set of values and interests. I am looking forward to meeting somebody the I can't wait to see. Somebody that I can be passionate about and love to make happy. Somebody that likes to enjoy what life has to offer. Not to be too cliche, but life is short and there is so much to enjoy; I want somebody to share it with. Pretty corny but there it is.
Family is very important to me. Although my friends think I am crazy, I would like to have more children, or be involved with somebody that has children. When all is said and done I would rather play catch or kick a soccer ball around than go to a fancy dinner.

Meet people from United States. Well let's see, where do you start? I know I work too much; I have 32 years with the fire department and looking to retire in 3 years 4 months, but who's counting.
