It's true right? It is up to us to make the best with what we got! And yes, I've been there, done that. I've learned plenty of lessons along the way, and have kept my cool with each failed attempt at a serious relationship. Luckily I've been able to reach various goals and accomplishments along the way (College degree, steady career and income) and over time, I've come to understand the many reasons why I find myself single to this very day. Yes, I'm happy that I've walked out on companionship's that were detrimental to my own health. Some guys can only take so much and I can confidently say that I've put my self out there plenty of times, only to find myself at risk of heartbreak.
I know, I know... I'm not perfect either. And there have been plenty of phases throughout my life where I just wanted to play the field more so then to find someone for the long-term. But those days are long gone now. I'm looking forward to starting my Master's degree program in the fall, having already earned my Associates and Bachelors degree. My career has taken off here at Sutter Health. I'm well respected at work. All of my family is in good health. I'm surrounded by a variety of good, solid friends. I reside in a beautiful part of the Bay Area. I travel when I can, party with friends when possible, celebrate with my family on special occasions and all I'm missing is that special someone to share it all with.
What I'm looking for in a woman is simple... confidence! I'm open to all nationalities, height, shapes and sizes, even those with children - it is the physical and mental confidence that must be there regardless! There is nothing more painful then to cross paths with a beautiful woman, who is both more then physically and mentally capable - who doesn't know or understand their true self worth or simply doesn't have high expectations in life! Just sayin'!
You're set of close friends usually define the type of individual you are. Whether you are a driver or passenger... a go-getter vs home-body... career driven vs remaining in neutral... extrovert vs introvert... comfortably shy vs socially awkward... all these factors definitely play into whether or not we'd get along. If you are looking for someone to take care of you financially or are all about material things and set everybody else in your life as a 2nd priority - then I'm definitely not the man for you. There is nothing more special then a woman who is driven to accomplish her set goals in life - aside from what's going on around her, who is humble, respectful and confident in her overall approach.
So what would you like to know about me? Feel free to ask away! I'm easy to get along with, professional when necessary but a kid at heart. I'm very humble, and a bit on the reserved side at first but once you get to know me... you'll see that I'm just a laid back, happy type of guy - 99% of the time. Chivalry isn't dead, am down to earth, and am open minded. I'm a bit of a gym rat and play basketball often, aside from weight training and the occasional jog around Lake Chabot and Lake Merritt. I enjoy pretty much any type of event under the Sun, Moon and Stars.
I'm family oriented (El Salvadoran and Mexican) and I'm a bit of a social butterfly but knows his place at all times. I'm a logical, progressive, optimistic, enthusiastic thinker. I'm always up on current events. Have an opinion about everything. I pay attention to politics. A big fan of Bill Maher. How you doing? Thanks for stopping by, so this is where I write about myself. Ok well I'm a 33 year old. I'm a quiet individual who enjoys a good time here or there. Love going to Giants games, Taking in a movie or just going to the sports bar to watch the game. I'm also a avid picture taker and love using photoshop. I love music and just about listen to it whenever I can. I love the world of tech, so that makes me a geek I guess.
I was born and raised here in the Bay Area. I like to travel when I can, I've been to New York City, to Austin, TX, The Vegas. I love music, i have way too many mp3's but who doesn't? I also love just walking around in San Francisco on a beautiful blue sky day. It doesn't get any better then that. I like to cook. I love Thai Food.
